Been a couple years since I wrote on here, not even sure anyone's paying attention anymore.  Out of the Army, out of work.  It seems no one is hiring drone operators but the market is big I hear.

I'm all but done commissioning people.  Been about a year and a half give or take since I shelled out a hundred bucks and got the first sketch four months ago.  Not the first time this has happened either, dropped like one fifty about nine or ten years back and then the person blocked me.  It's hard to bring myself to support people these days, even knowing there are good, worthwhile artists out there.

I don't really want to rant since it seems to be a trend these days but if anyone's paying attention, I'll be dropping some excerpts from my new book soon.
I'm in Kuwait at the moment, got a 36 hour layover coming out of Afghanistan heading to the states.  Also not going to home base just yet, they're sending me to Fort Benning where I wait to get a plane to Fort Stewart. Good lord they make going home complicated but you'll be in Iraq or Afghanistan in 18 hours.

I left Georgia a couple days ago for Afghanistan.  I'm currently in Kyrgistan looking at the Himalayan Mountains.  Leaving soon for my last leg of the trip, had a layover in Germany, too.  If anyone read my last journal entry, I'm still looking for an artist.  Not sure when I'll have internet again but I'll try to get it soon.  Miss you guys.

Attention artists or friends of artists.  I am seeking someone familiar with the Silgreans from Outlaw Star, male reference episode 13 and female reference episode 23.  Also, I have a very specific thought in mind for avians and a great deal of feather detail.  I'm open to art styles though I'm looking more towards digital.  Just drop me a note or reply to this journal and I'll take a look, paying top dollar for good quality art.

So I went in to the hospital yesterday at 7am right, to have surgery on my sinuses and septum.  Turns out they weren't ready for me until like 11:30 because they didn't clean, prep, and their instruments were out of calibration.  Then I woke up at around 5pm with gauze taped under my nose and AIR traveling through my nostrils!  I'm so happy I can breath again but taking care of this thing is a pain in the ass.  I have this saline nasal spray and it's like inhaling the Gulf of Mexico through my nose.  What also sucks is that I have to sleep sitting up and I wake up hocking junk up from my lungs but at least it's not as bad as last time.

I don't know how conscious I'm going to be for the next two weeks, they gave me a 40 bottle of percocet.  Here's to a swift recovery and easy breathing.

I'm home and I'm tired of the Army.  I have three options right now.  Die, win the lottery, or have someone else win the lottery then die and leave it all to me.  Who wants to take one for the team?

...I venture forth on my journey to a brave new world called the united States of America.  I has been one year since I've been there and I expect it to be as big a shit hole as when I left.  Though the internet there works and they have a Wal-Mart.  Boots on Home Soil ETA: 3 Days.

So, I was browsing the net and stumbled upon... What the fuck ever, I see this crap on e621 every day and dropped by Ponibooru for a few laughs.  Now I want in.

If you're an artist who can draw ponies, I've got some money for you.  I've got a picture I desperately need colored and I'm still looking for artists that would like to draw for money.

I need my shop drawn, about two or three pieces and a comic involving RD and a prank.

So, today was the Day of Rage and as predicted, the locals got in firefights all over Iraq with US and Iraqi Army Forces.  Almost all of the Mayors of the major cities like Ramadi, Mosul, and Fallujah have stepped down and the rest are being ordered to step down or face their homes burning down like a few other Mayors.  We didn't lose as many today as we thought we were but there were still civilians injured in the firefights.  Though I did manage to see a crowd get knocked on their backsides by a fire hose, the fire truck even chased after them for a while.  The riots and protests continue and I think I'll have to clean up at the end of the week.

So, tomorrow is the Iraqi national holiday labeled the Day of Rage where everyone goes around killing each other by the scores and holding protests for some reason or another.  The automatic gunfire started tonight at 1718 local time and has only lulled in recent hours.  In two days, we'll go scrape up enough people to get the convoys through the streets and let the locals take care of the rest.

Well, the only internet I get is random signals of free broadcast and it blocks adult content. The shit that I'm paying for doesn't even get signal and whenever there's a sandstorm, it goes out completely.

What's the bird of Freedom? Eagle

What's the bird of Wisdom? Owl

What's the bird of Love? Dove

Now... What's the bird of True Love? Swallow

Riddle me this and get a Llama. - Looks like no one gets a Llama for this.

I'm at Al Asad Airbase, Iraq right now. I'll be heading to Ramadi in a week, from there I might have stable internet. the prices got from $60 (300mbs a day), $90 (600mbs a day) and $120 (900mbs a day) and the net speed is the same regardless. It blows. They're saying Xbox live and PS  won't work through it which is total bullshit. I call Shenanigans on the Iraqi internet.
I'm about to go nuts, this whole army thing is getting out of hand. The higher ups are acting so childish and don't really give a damn about anyone else. It's like elementary school all over.
This school is worthless as are the people who run it. They're supposed to be higher ranking soldiers that are supposed to be teaching us how to be leaders but instead they're punishing us for shit we don't do.

Some of the following are...

Someone stole two guide-ons (Wooden pole with platoon flag) that were posted outside the tent shared by first and third platoon males. No other guide-ons were taken, it has been three days and no evidence has been found. All instructors are blaming the students. By the way, the rank difference between instructor and student is SSG and SGT, one whole rank. In addition to the one man awake all night 30 minutes at a time, they added 3 man two hour shifts roving guard from each platoon until the guide-ons are returned (they won't be).

One of the First Sergeants walked around the tent (they're renovating third platoon barracks) and said the sandbags smelled like piss. Maybe it has something to do with the moldy dirt in the burlap bags that have been rained on for a week. But the command staff said that's impossible. So we replaced every sandbag around the tent, oh by the way it's so big we have a 4-fan AC system on one side and a wooden floor housing at least 50 people. Wooden floor of which we have to sweep and mop.

We get filed in to eat at the cafeteria like cattle, yelled at and belittled constantly.

Bunks and sheets get flipped and ripped off at instructor leisure, any items found unsecured will remove you from the honors list. If they rip the door off your standing wooden wall locker they'll call it unsecure and remove you from the honors list. I had to repair a wall locker last night so someone could lock their shit up. There is a whole section of busted lockers and the instructors do nothing about it.

Showers are not allowed every day and sometimes people go two days at a time unshowered. It's so cold that people are using sleeping bags instead of just the blankets given to them by the instructors.

I have 7 more days of this bullshit, updates will be posted as soon as I have net access after it happens.

Ammendment: In addition to the one man 30 minute shifts with 12 shifts a night and the 3 man 2 hour roving shifts, there is now a 2 man 2 hour port-o-john guard and a 2 man 2 hour staff guard (one platoon assigned at a time). All guards to be taken from all platoons. Out of 5 platoons, a total of 144 students, 32 people will be up at any given time for 6 hours a night. In the space of two hours 35 people will be awake. 75 out of 144 people awake at night needlessly.

So, that's pretty much why I stopped posting, I'm tired of being in the drama and getting hate notes. What makes me such a big target?

I can't make anyone happy and it's been proven. I can't even have friends because they all attack me because I talk to more than one female, them. There's only one joke and it's that I'm still alive to deal with shit like this. Why can't people be civil or ask questions? Like why I did this or why someone said that.

If I get any more hate mail I'm going to shut this account down until I get back from Iraq, provided I do. If not, then my mother is $400k richer and she'll post pics of my funeral pyre.
