Been a couple years since I wrote on here, not even sure anyone's paying attention anymore.  Out of the Army, out of work.  It seems no one is hiring drone operators but the market is big I hear.

I'm all but done commissioning people.  Been about a year and a half give or take since I shelled out a hundred bucks and got the first sketch four months ago.  Not the first time this has happened either, dropped like one fifty about nine or ten years back and then the person blocked me.  It's hard to bring myself to support people these days, even knowing there are good, worthwhile artists out there.

I don't really want to rant since it seems to be a trend these days but if anyone's paying attention, I'll be dropping some excerpts from my new book soon.

I'm in Kuwait at the moment, got a 36 hour layover coming out of Afghanistan heading to the states.  Also not going to home base just yet, they're sending me to Fort Benning where I wait to get a plane to Fort Stewart. Good lord they make going home complicated but you'll be in Iraq or Afghanistan in 18 hours.

I left Georgia a couple days ago for Afghanistan.  I'm currently in Kyrgistan looking at the Himalayan Mountains.  Leaving soon for my last leg of the trip, had a layover in Germany, too.  If anyone read my last journal entry, I'm still looking for an artist.  Not sure when I'll have internet again but I'll try to get it soon.  Miss you guys.

Attention artists or friends of artists.  I am seeking someone familiar with the Silgreans from Outlaw Star, male reference episode 13 and female reference episode 23.  Also, I have a very specific thought in mind for avians and a great deal of feather detail.  I'm open to art styles though I'm looking more towards digital.  Just drop me a note or reply to this journal and I'll take a look, paying top dollar for good quality art.

So I went in to the hospital yesterday at 7am right, to have surgery on my sinuses and septum.  Turns out they weren't ready for me until like 11:30 because they didn't clean, prep, and their instruments were out of calibration.  Then I woke up at around 5pm with gauze taped under my nose and AIR traveling through my nostrils!  I'm so happy I can breath again but taking care of this thing is a pain in the ass.  I have this saline nasal spray and it's like inhaling the Gulf of Mexico through my nose.  What also sucks is that I have to sleep sitting up and I wake up hocking junk up from my lungs but at least it's not as bad as last time.


I don't know how conscious I'm going to be for the next two weeks, they gave me a 40 bottle of percocet.  Here's to a swift recovery and easy breathing.
